My New Year's Start!
Well, I picked up my needle on New Year's Day and begin my Prairie Schooler ABC Project! As of this afternoon, I completed the letter "A". I am stitching on 25 count cream colored evenweave fabric with the called for DMC threads. I did make a change. I used 816 instead of the called for 3857 (red). I thought the 816 showed up a little better. I am doing the stitching over one thread. I like how it is turning out!
I plan to stitch 2 letters a month. I hope this won't be too ambitious. I won't be sarting my second letter ("J") until January 15th. I have several other projects I'm working on and I need to give them a little attention.
Thanks for looking.

Nice job Holly. Ambitious plan to do two a month; I'm still slogging away on my first and it's been days!
You've made a great start!
You're off to a great start Holly. I'm just doing one a month, but that may change is nothing else calls my name.
Looking good! I like your color change, it makes the square brighter. I'm so glad ya'll are ahead of me so I can learn from you.

It is certainly interesting for me to read the post. Thanks for it. I like such topics and anything connected to this matter. I would like to read a bit more on that blog soon.
Sincerely yours
